After the successful implementation of the YOUTH IN ACTION project , named "Museum: the actionography of European people" CLUB FOR UNESCO OF PIREAUS AND ISLANDS (Athens , Greece ) and CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF SCENOGRAPHY FREE ARTISTIC CHOREOGRAPHY AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL (Constanta, Romania ) realized that Youth in Action should NEVER END, so they decided to start the program EDUCATION AND CULTURE THROUGH THE TOURISM under which many project of youth exchanges will be organized .
THE AIMS :
Education and Culture through the tourism aims to fostering young people’s mobility, to enhance the intercultural dialogue and cooperation, to provide informal learning opportunities, to develop social and cultural awareness and enhance European citizenship and promoting the fundamental values of the EU generally, by strengthening the relations between Romania and Greece more specifically. Meanwhile the Partnership aims to promote cultural, educational and volunteering thematic tourism in Europe for youth people.
FOR WHOM ?
The target group of the projects, defined with the term participants, includes young people aged 13-30 citizens of Greece and Romania .Each project will conclude at least 10 participant citizens of Romania and 10 participant citizens of Greece. The participants are allowed to be accompanied by their family or other persons over 30 years old who do not participates the project but is allowed to attend all the actions.
WHY ?
The actions during the period of mobility will be compatible with the purposes mentioned above , and may include cultural events, musical / theatrical / art performances, educational visits, workshops, volunteering services , educational conferences, sports etc..All participants will receive awards for participation which will include the description and informal learning value of each project.
FOR EVERYONE !
The Partners are also responsible for facilitating participation in the projects for young people with fewer opportunities, especially for those with economical difficulties, by making agreements with sponsors or receiving donations or by any other eligible action the incomes of each will be set for the current purpose. Also the Partners are responsible for making the participation fee as lower as is possible for facilitating more young people to get involved in the projects.
